When  it comes to above ground storage tanks one thing is certain-they all  suffer from some form of corrosion. When this happens the surface needs  to be prepared to be repainted. Whether it’s a small fuel storage tank  or a 120’ municipal water tower, rust will most likely play a role at  some point in time. Once that happens you will need to act quickly to  prevent the corrosion from creating costly damage beyond typical repair  costs. Sandblasting the exterior surface removes the old paint along  with the rust to create a clean surface that’s ready to have a fresh  coat of paint applied to it.

Underground  Storage Tanks have special linings that both contain contents and  prevent them from leaking out. When these tanks require maintenance they  are drained and inspected. If a new coating is necessary the old  coating is removed by media blasting.
